Our Scent Philosophy
Each scent blend is structured around behavior. We study how fragrance disperses, how it settles in the air, and how it evolves over time. Decisions are made at the formulation level: adjusting balance, diffusion, and finish, so the scent remains composed from first light to dry-down.

Materials, Chosen with Restraint
Coconut-Soy Wax Blend
Luceria candles are poured using a coconut–soy wax blend selected for its performance, stability, and compatibility with low-profile fragrance structures.
This wax burns evenly, maintains a consistent melt pool, and allows fragrance to disperse gradually rather than releasing all at once. The result is controlled diffusion and a cleaner burn compared to paraffin-dominant alternatives.
Its naturally smooth finish and low-soot properties support the way Luceria fragrances are built, with clarity, balance, and consistency from first burn to last.
Skin-Safe Fragrance Oils
Luceria fragrances are created using IFRA-compliant fragrance oils that meet strict safety standards for skin and air exposure.
Each oil is selected for stability, low irritation potential, and controlled aromatic behavior across candles, sprays, and body-safe applications where applicable. We work within regulated usage rates and avoid materials known for sharp projection, volatility spikes, or sensory fatigue.
Every formula is tested for balance and consistency from initial release through dry-down. No unnecessary additives. No filler notes. Only materials that support clarity, performance, and long-term wearability within the space.
Natural Wood Wicks
Luceria candles use FSC-certified wooden wicks selected for consistent flame behavior and controlled burn performance.
Each wick is tested across multiple pours to ensure proper ignition, stable burn, and compatibility with our coconut-soy wax blend. This testing process helps prevent tunneling, excessive soot, and uneven melt pools.
Wood wicks are chosen for their structural reliability and steady heat output, allowing fragrance to disperse evenly while maintaining a clean burn from first light to final burn.
Plant-Based Ingredients for Sprays
Luceria room + body sprays are formulated with a plant-based, alcohol-free base designed for both air and skin use.
The base is selected for low irritation, fine misting, and quick settling, allowing fragrance to disperse evenly without harsh evaporation or sharp projection. Each formula is blended with IFRA-compliant fragrance oils and tested for stability across room and personal use.
This structure supports controlled diffusion and short-range scent presence, making the sprays suitable for daily use in shared or scent-sensitive environments.
Small-Batch Production
Luceria products are produced in controlled micro-batches to maintain consistency across formulation, burn performance, and scent diffusion.
Small-batch production allows for hands-on oversight at every stage: pouring, curing, testing, and final inspection. Each batch is evaluated for stability, scent behavior, and compatibility across materials before it is released.
This approach prioritizes precision over volume and ensures that every product meets the same performance standard, batch after batch.

Mass fragrance production optimizes for speed, scale, and projection. We don’t.

Are your candles safe for people who are sensitive to scents?
YES! Every fragrance is tested in my own scent-sensitive home before I offer it in my shop. I only choose blends that stay soft in the air and don't overwhelm a room.
Why do you use wooden wicks?
Wooden wicks burn slowly, cleanly, and create a quiet crackle. They also help prevent the strong "hot throw" that cotton wicks can sometimes produce, keeping your space comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I use the spray on my skin?
Yes. My sprays are a dual-use blend safe for both room and body. They're alcohol-free, clean, and made to be gentle.
How long does the spray scent last?
My sprays offer a soft, natural-lasting scent – typically 4-5 hours on skin, and longer on fabrics depending on the material.
